The strong reception at boot Düsseldorf 2026 provided the ideal springboard for the international debut of MARCOPOLO ADVENTURE YACHTS. After its world premiere at the German show, the MARCOPOLO MP12 now enters its most anticipated phase: life at sea, where it fully demonstrates the design and technological solutions that have impressed both the public and industry professionals since its first presentation.

"The name MARCOPOLO is synonymous with exploration," emphasizes Rosario Alcaro. "The full name of the brand 'Marcopolo Adventure Yachts' perfectly captures our vision: boats designed for owners who experience the sea as a journey, rather than simply a destination."

"Following the experience with Invictus Yacht and Capoforte," continues Rosario Alcaro, "the Aschenez group, through the Marcopolo brand, has decided to pursue a path of differentiation, aligning more closely with the evolving market trends focused on technology, maneuverability, performance, accessibility, and comfort."

Beyond its distinctive design, the MARCOPOLO identity is defined by the seamless integration of aesthetics, engineering and construction innovation, creating a distinctive synthesis that defines the brand's philosophy.

Transformability: a new paradigm of versatility

One of the project's defining characteristics is its ability to adapt to different markets and owners. The layout can evolve from an open to a cruiser configuration, even at a later stage, thanks to structural modules engineered for retrofitting.

This rare feature within the segment extends the product lifecycle while helping preserve long-term value.

On board the MP12

For the first model, the cruiser configuration has been selected, with the entire area beneath the hardtop enclosed by large panoramic glazing. At the stern, the design is dominated by powerful outboard engines, with maximum propulsion provided by three 450 hp outboards, while an alternative configuration of three 350 hp units provides an ideal balance between performance and efficiency.

Two generous side swim platforms effectively replace the traditional inboard swim platform, a logical choice given that MARCOPOLO ADVENTURE YACHTS models are designed exclusively for outboard propulsion. The engine cockpit is protected by a carefully designed tubular structure that integrates safety gates for sea access and a rollbar defining the perimeter. The solution is both stylistically distinctive and functionally effective, clearly separating the propulsion area from the main living space with a sporty, dynamic structure.

Fold-down side terraces allow the cockpit to transform into a flexible open-space layout with multiple configurations. The large sunpad features a reclining backrest that can face the spacious dinette, where an extendable table accommodates numerous guests.

A second sofa completes the area and can be enclosed by the sliding glass panels. Depending on the backrest configuration, it also forms seating for a second sheltered social space equipped with two individual armchairs and an additional table. This entire living area is served by a fully equipped bar unit with a galley corner, sink and refrigerator, located aft of the helm and co-helm seats and facing the futuristic helm station.

Large windows enclose the space in line with the cruiser configuration of this MP12 version. On the starboard side, a lateral door provides direct access to the side deck, which, like its port counterpart, is generously dimensioned to allow easy access to the bow even for less experienced guests. The foredeck benefits from its impressive dimensions, featuring a large sunpad and two seats, transforming it into an additional relaxation lounge area.

"The wide flared bow evokes certain military vessels," explains designer Roberto Delfanti. "This design feature enhances onboard space, creating a surprisingly spacious and welcoming bow lounge with a sofa that converts into a sunbathing area."

Below deck, guests are welcomed by a configurable dinette area, while the bow houses a large double berth served by two spacious wardrobes. The bathroom includes a separate shower, while two additional single berths are located aft at midships beneath the saloon.

Exclusive materials and color palette

In terms of décor, the MP12 features light, airy tones on the lower deck, where fine woods, fabrics and premium materials highlight the quality of craftsmanship and the distinctive design language.

The deck and hull are finished in 'Steel Grey', complemented by a wide black band designed to emphasize the yacht's technical character.

"Steel Grey combined with the total-white hardtop creates an iconic color pairing inspired by the 1970s off-road vehicles, robust, reliable machines that gradually evolved into more comfortable SUVs," explains Roberto Delfanti. For the upholstery, the shipyard selected 'Space Shell', an innovative material used in the aerospace and motorsport sectors. Thanks to its ability to limit heat transmission, it ensures superior comfort even under direct sunlight, significantly improving the onboard experience.

The material has been strategically applied in high-contact areas such as sunpads and seating to guarantee comfort even on the hottest days. An optional Evercore composite deck mat with cork particles provides an eco-friendly, non-slip, durable and insulating surface that is also easy to clean.

Interior finishes feature Dinamica, a technical automotive-derived upholstery appreciated for its lightness, durability and tactile quality, an expression of contemporary design combining elegance and functionality.

Innovative materials, comfort and performance

"Aligned with our commitment to sustainability and efficiency, we have moved away from traditional materials in favour of next-generation composites," explains Roberto Delfanti. "The structural elements are built using recycled PET, a thermoplastic material combining lightness, durability and reduced environmental impact. Bulkheads and some furniture components employ honeycomb polypropylene, a high-tech material derived from the aerospace and automotive industries that combines rigidity and flexibility within a cellular structure, optimizing comfort while reducing weight."

The hull has been developed through advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis to deliver balanced trim and impeccable stability even at high speeds, allowing safe cruising at 40 knots. The MP12 features a triple-step hull, optimizing water flow and reducing hydrodynamic resistance to ensure smoother acceleration and lower fuel consumption.

Construction, overseen by Rosario Alcaro, uses high-quality fiberglass laminates designed to ensure structural rigidity and mechanical strength without compromising overall lightness. The pursuit of optimal weight distribution goes further with the use of carbon fiber in the pillars and hardtop, lowering the center of gravity, reducing top-weight and contributing to the vessel's overall stability.

Every detail, from materials to hull geometry, has been developed through meticulous three-dimensional weight and stress analysis. The goal is clear: achieving the perfect balance between strength, efficiency and lightness; the core values of every MARCOPOLO ADVENTURE YACHT model. The MP12 is not simply a new model, but the tangible expression of a design philosophy that combines exploration, technology and versatility within a distinctive and highly evolved platform.
