Rayglass Boats, a Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC) brand and a globally recognized designer and manufacturer of premium power boats, today debuted the all-new Legend 2400 at the 2026 Rayglass Boat Show.
The 2400 is the third and final release in the next-generation Legend range, joining the Legend 3000 (2024) and Legend 2700 (2025) to complete a fully modernized trilogy built on more than a decade of owner feedback.
An evolution of the iconic Legend 2350, one of Rayglass' most popular vessels for the past 13-plus years, the 2400 is engineered to launch anywhere and go everywhere. Easy to tow and manage on the trailer yet capable of serious offshore performance, the 2400 is purpose-built for owners who refuse to choose between weekend fishing, family cruising and long-range adventure.
The Legend 2400 will be available for tours and sea trials at Rayglass' Mt Wellington headquarters in Auckland, with expressions of interest now open through rayglass.co.nz.
Handcrafted in Auckland and built on Rayglass' signature unsinkable deep-V hull, the 2400 carries forward everything owners have loved about the 2350 while introducing a modernized design language, an elevated base specification and an additional half-meter of length. Signature features include:
- A redesigned dash and helm position with improved windscreen visibility and additional standing headroom for taller boaters
- A raised, lengthened foredeck that increases bow volume for more usable fishing and lounging space
- A slightly extended waterline that enhances ride quality and stability
- Expanded onboard storage throughout the cabin and deck
- A spacious hardtop cabin with greater headroom for overnighting
- Comfortable on-deck fishing capacity for four
- An expanded duckboard with removable D-rails on the sterndrive variant, matched to the 3000 and 2700
- A purpose-built offshore transom on the single-outboard variant, featuring a plumbed live bait tank, bait prep station and chilly bin
- Three propulsion choices: a 270hp inboard diesel, a single outboard up to 425hp, or twin outboards up to 450hp
- Increased fuel capacity of 320 liters (sterndrive) and 300 liters (outboard) for extended range
- Extensive customization options across nearly every component
"Rayglass hasn't changed our philosophy here. As Tony Hembrow said when we released the 2700, you don't make a square wheel when the round one is working," said Dean Harris, President, Rayglass Boats. "Over 13 years we've listened to 2350 owners, real stories about fishing trips, rough weather and family boating, and we've built all of that into the 2400 to create what we believe is the perfect boat of this size. Everything is right where it needs to be, so it's easier than ever to get out on the water and enjoy. The 2400 isn't a replacement; it sits below the 2500 and above the 2350, giving our customers more choice across the next-generation Legend range."
