Dometic has unveiled the FreshJet FJXM7 3500, a next-generation rooftop climate solution purpose-engineered for the demands of modern marine environments. Combining advanced inverter technology with extensive marinisation engineering, the compact rooftop system delivers efficient onboard comfort, simplified installation and dependable offshore durability.

Built on Dometic's proven FreshJet platform for RV applications, the FJXM7 has been extensively marinised and validated for the demands of leisure and commercial marine environments. The system incorporates marine-grade stainless-steel components, specially coated coils, sealed electrical systems and a wave-impact-tested compressor unit to deliver reliable performance in harsh marine conditions.

Delivering 3500W of cooling and 3000W of heating from a single self-contained rooftop unit, the FreshJet FJXM7 blends powerful climate control with simplified installation. The integrated inverter compressor technology enables rapid, whisper-quiet cooling while minimising start-up current and improving energy efficiency, which is particularly beneficial for work boats or cruisers operating with limited onboard power, hybrid systems or variable load profiles.

Designed for operation in temperatures ranging from -12°C to 52°C, the system is engineered to maintain reliable onboard comfort across diverse global operating environments. While its configuration fits standard 400 x 400 mm openings and roof thicknesses from 25-60 mm, supporting straightforward installation on both new-build and refit projects while preserving valuable interior space.

Available in both black and white finishes, the FreshJet FJXM7 also features integrated CleanAir filtration to help maintain cabin freshness, seamless connectivity via the Dometic Climate app, and compatibility with the optional FJX ADBD air distribution box featuring touch controls and integrated LED lighting.

Eric Fetchko, President of Dometic's Marine Segment said: "The launch of FreshJet FJXM7 3500 reflects Dometic's continued focus on delivering purpose-engineered solutions for evolving marine applications."

"By adapting a proven rooftop climate platform for demanding offshore environments, we're able to offer builders and operators an efficient, compact and highly reliable onboard comfort solution."

The FreshJet FJXM7 is now available across EMEA through authorised Dometic marine partners and distributors, and will make its global debut at Seawork 2026 on the Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions stand (Q84) and Nauticool Ltd stand (F20), where the long-standing Dometic partners will showcase the unit as part of its integrated onboard climate solutions portfolio.
