We've had an extraordinary response to Boats Afloat for AWBF 2027, with hundreds of applications received from boat owners keen to join us on Hobart's waterfront next February.
Our team is working through those applications and email notifications are beginning to go out.
If you applied, please keep an eye on your inbox over the coming weeks, and remember to check your junk or spam folder too.
We have received more applications than we are able to accommodate, so it will take some time to contact everyone. Thank you for your patience while our team works through the hundreds of submissions and gets in touch with each applicant.
Not afloat? Bring your boat ashore
If your boat won't be joining the fleet on the water, there's still another way to be part of AWBF 2027.
Boats Ashore brings wooden boats right into the Festival precinct, giving visitors the chance to get up close to vessels of all shapes, sizes and stories.
Expressions of Interest remain open until Monday 2 November 2026.
