A new invitation-only networking reception, the Captains' Exchange, has been added to the program of the Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF) 2027, running 22-25 April 2027 at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove.

Every MIA and AIMEX member exhibiting on the MIA/AIMEX group stand will receive an invitation.

The Captains' Exchange

Held on the Festival's opening day, Thursday 22 April 2027 from 5.00pm to 7.00pm at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, the Captains' Exchange will bring together yacht captains, marina and boatyard operators and yachting media. AIMEX CEO David Good will outline Australia's plans for the sector on the road to 2032, and how the Asia-Pacific region can build a lasting legacy for visiting yachts. Captains will share what they need from marinas and refit yards, opening a practical conversation on what a world-class cruising circuit requires.

"The people who decide where yachts cruise, berth and refit will be in the room," said Suzanne Davies, CEO of the Marina Industries Association. "For marinas, boatyards and suppliers across the Asia-Pacific, it's a rare chance to meet them face to face and show what our region can offer and learn more about how we as a broader region can provide it."

Access is complimentary but strictly by invitation, and sponsorship opportunities are available.

The MIA/AIMEX group stand and Walkers Package

The MIA is again coordinating a group presence for MIA and AIMEX members in the Exhibition Pavilion's Yacht, Marinas & Marine Services zone, across two adjacent stands: Marinas & Boatyards of the Asia-Pacific and Marina & Boatyard Suppliers. Exhibitors will also enjoy dedicated networking functions on the stand during the show.

The Walkers Package costs AUD $4,250 + GST and includes:

  • a one-metre branded space on the stand, with event access and one exhibitor pass
  • display of marketing collateral and use of shared meeting areas
  • access to the Festival VIP Lounge
  • inclusion in pre-event and on-site promotion
  • support from the MIA team throughout the show
  • an invitation to the Captains' Exchange

Additional exhibitor passes are $300 + GST each.

Secure your place

Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-registered, first-offered basis. Members interested in joining the stand should contact Suzanne Davies, CEO, at or +61 2 9439 5806.
