The American Boat and Yacht Council (a nonprofit association that sets voluntary global safety standards for the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of recreational boats) in collaboration with the United States Coast Guard, released a significant analysis by independent research firms Industrial Economics and ITA International.
This analysis focuses on the effectiveness of the council's standards in enhancing recreational boating safety and was presented during the Risk Mitigation webinar "Don't Be a Statistic. Data Saves Lives" on May 1st.

The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation is excited to announce that Captain Red Flowers will embark on a historic journey to run the Great Loop in record time in support of paediatric cancer research. Captain Red Flowers, a stage 4 cancer survivor himself, was deeply moved by the courage of children undergoing cancer treatment at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, as he struggled through the same treatments side by side with them.
