The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation is excited to announce that Captain Red Flowers will embark on a historic journey to run the Great Loop in record time in support of pediatric cancer research.

Captain Red Flowers, a stage 4 cancer survivor himself, was deeply moved by the courage of children undergoing cancer treatment at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, as he struggled through the same treatments side by side with them. Inspired by their resilience, he vowed to act by embarking on something audacious: running the Great Loop and raising $1 million dollars. To help support the effort, we encourage all to follow along, donate and share in the journey! Canyon Bay Boats - who is providing the boat for Captain Flowers' journey - has also agreed to auction the boat upon the completion of his trip to raise additional funds for pediatric cancer research.

With the support of Canyon Bay, along with various sponsors and supporters around the world (including Power Pole, Tocaro Blue PROTEUS 3D Navigation, FGCI, Seaspension, Battery Tender, Seaview, Starlink, Gemlux, and Ezell Fuel Tanks), he plans to navigate the Great Loop in record time, all in the name of pediatric cancer research and awareness.

With an initial grass-roots effort through generous donors and sponsors, the Great Loop Challenge has already raised over 10% ($100,000+) of their overall goal of $1 million.
