More marina space and exciting firsts for GC Boat Show and Marine Expo

by Gold Coast Marine Expo on 17 Feb 2017
Queensland’s Biggest boat show – staged right in the heart of Australia’s boating industry capital – now has over 94% of exhibitor space sold or reserved – so you’ll find everything you need to have fun on the water next season right here at Coomera Gold Coast Marine Expo www.gcmarineexpo.com.au
More marina space and even more exciting additions to an already impressive Fleet of Firsts have set the scene for a colossal marine showcase both on water and on land on Queensland’s Gold Coast from 17-19 March.

With just four weeks until the Gold Coast International Boat Show and Marine Expo at Coomera, organisers have announced the creation of additional marina space to accommodate the quickly growing on-water line-up of luxury yachts and boats.

“For the first time in our seven years, we will be linking the Gold Coast City Marina’s brand new super yacht basin with the Riviera Marina, enabling visitors to be able to walk the full waterfront of our industry-backed show,” said Event and Marketing Manager Emma Brown.

“This not only creates additional berths for a massive display of brand-new yachts and premium brokerage vessels, it also creates even more berths for instant sea trials and an amazing spectacle for our boat show visitors,” she said.

“Linking the marinas so visitors can walk the entire waterfront will take the Gold Coast boat show experience to a whole new level – if you’re coming to see boats, you’ll certainly see lots of them now,” said Anton Prange from YachtShare, which will showcase their syndicated Integrity 380 and Fountaine Pajot Helia 44.

“The new link will draw even more people to our on-water displays and we look forward to showing everyone how boating can enhance their leisure time with their families.”

Pushing the throttles forward in the countdown to the boat show, organisers have reported exhibitor space sold or reserved is now 94% of capacity with even more world-leading marine businesses and brands coming onboard every day for Australia’s first major boat show of the year.

“We will have Queensland’s biggest trailer boat display for 2017, and our largest-ever range of Premieres for products spanning the full spectrum of boating,” said Mrs Brown.

“On display will be everything from magnificent motor yachts to stylish sailing vessels, a vast array of tenders and trailer boats, engines, marine accessories and equipment … and everything else in between.

“Visitors will be able to come and see all the new-year releases first right in the heart of Australia’s boating capital: the Gold Coast Marine Precinct at Coomera.

“Nowhere else in the world is a boat show held right in the heart of the largest boat-building and shipyard facilities in the host country – this is a great location for boating enthusiasts to come and see it all first in 2017.”
