Images from the start of the Big Boat division at Hamilton Island Race Week on Tuesday.

The six boats - two supermaxis - a couple of TP52s and 60fters made a spectacular sight as they got clear of the start off the Hamilton Island Yacht Club and headed off at speeds of 25kts, for a 50nm tour of the Whitsunday Islands - which they cut out in 3hrs 45 minutes.
