Leading yacht supplier and logistical support group, National Marine Suppliers USA has announced today it is launching into the Pacific.

The move comes in response to feedback gathered by the company from its clients over the years. Those superyacht clients say that with the growing number of yachts cruising the Pacific, and the America's Cup scheduled for 2021 in New Zealand, the timing is right to launch the world-renowned brand into the region.

"National Marine Pacific will be well positioned from our base in Auckland New Zealand, to provide ongoing service and assistance to our valued yacht clients, local agents, management companies and individuals alike who venture into the Pacific," says National Marine founder, Dean Du Toit.

National Marine Pacific will act as National Marine Supplier's distribution hub for the region; able to procure the products yachts know and love as well as supplying exceptional local brands, including those with cult followings which are hard to obtain.

As part of the company's commitment to providing a full service experience, National Marine Pacific will offer complete shore support in New Zealand from bunkering, docking, management of logistics, itineraries crew needs to the full range of shoreside support work.

"National Marine Supplier's presence in St Maarten and St Thomas has proven our commitment to support our industry with a supply chain for provisions, parts and supplies as well as logistics.

"We're excited to now be able to better assist customers and management companies to ensure that supply chain continues seamlessly, providing every customer with a successful Pacific experience as we work alongside agents throughout the Pacific," says National Marine Suppliers founder, Dean Du Toit.

Mark Donaldson joins as National Marine Pacific's Managing Director. Mark brings over 20 years' experience working in the industry, starting from his early days onboard yachts to Director Yacht Management for Y.CO Monaco and eventually his own award-winning company Marinelogix in New Zealand.

His time on the management team of the Oneworld Challenge for the America's Cup as logistics/operations manager in both New Zealand and the US, combined with National Marine Suppliers' logistics and network delivers a joint ability to support, supply and curate cruises throughout the far reaches of the Pacific, as well as the America's Cup and beyond.

Mark is passionate about the Pacific and will be driving the brand forward with his team of yachting professionals.

"The Pacific is such a special part of the world - as much for its most hidden remote places as for its populated parts. With the introduction of National Marine Pacific we're now able to help yachts explore every part of the region without them having to forego their regular supplies or provisions," says Mark Donaldson.

"It's a game changer, and we're all incredibly proud to see this launch."
