This year, in the newly designed Sailing Hub, Any Port Marine will be exhibiting an exciting range of sailing products at the forefront of technology.

Any Port Marine, based on Sydney's Northern beaches, are the Australian distributors for French brands Karver Sailing, Ewincher and Nodus Factory.

The Ewincher made its debut last year at SIBS and since then has made sail handling easier for sailors all around the country on a variety of different yachts. Ready to use straight out of the bag, Ewincher is a real alternative to electric winches. Incredibly powerful, lightweight and with a long battery life the Ewincher is your new crewmate. This year the team from Any Port Marine welcome Maxime Rabu from Ewincher France to demonstrate the Ewincher and answer your questions.

If your current winches are due for replacement, or you want to upgrade to something unique, then a must see is the new Karver range of Winches that are being displayed for the first time at this year's Sydney International Boat Show.

Referred to as the greatest winch innovation in over 40 years, they feature an epicyclic gear that has the effect of multiplying effort. This technology has created a range of winches that are 6 times faster with the KWS-Speed Range or 3 times more powerful with the KWP-Power Range. These Karver winches are equipped with four speeds that pass instinctively from one to the other without having to activate any additional mechanism.

Karver include the two-speed Compact (KCW) winch that utilises this innovation. The Compact is the size of a standard 20 winch but has the power of a 45 Winch. The first gear is twice the speed of a standard 40 winch and the second gear has the power of a standard 45 winch.

There will also be an extensive range of Karver products on display:

  • Furlers for Staysails, Code 0 & Screechers,
  • Asymmetric spinnakers Structural Furlers for Jibs
  • Locks for Halyards, Mainsails or Reefing
  • Jammers with exceptional rope holding capabilities
  • Karver Rope Lashing Blocks
  • Deck and Mast hardware
Innovate your rigging with soft shackles, strops and loops from Nodus Factory. These textile products provide an opportunity to refit your yacht without skimping on strength, reliability and safety as all the products are tested, proven and certified by Veritas.

For the first time at the Sydney International Boat Show two representatives from Nodus Factory France will join the Any Port Marine team on the stand, CEO Yves Laurant and Olivia Eidenberger.

They will be on hand to talk about the range Nodus products which will include the new Plug & Sail range. The Plug & Sail range incorporates a new versatile textile shackles that are easy to use, universal, lightweight and safe
