Product Recall: Aurora orange Handsmoke, LOT 060 and LOT 061

It has come to our attention that a small percentage of LOT 060 and LOT 061 of the Aurora Orange Handsmoke, supplied between October and November 2020, are not operating correctly.

The malfunction was identified during a training exercise. No injuries have been reported, however, as a precaution, we have taken the decision to remove the affected LOT numbers from circulation.

In the affected batches there is a small possibility that the smoke can vent from the bottom of the handle instead of the top due to over-pressure in the ignition train.

We are therefore issuing a product safety recall and will be replacing any of the affected pyrotechnics free of charge.

The Wescom team are in the process of contacting all distributors and dealers across Australia to notify them of the problem and are working together to rectify the situation.
