Captain Peter Cook, MY Playpen reviews their recent visit, "Motor Yacht PLAYPEN has just had the most enjoyable visit to the wonderful Coral Sea Marina Resort. As a world travelling superyacht it is a pleasure to stopover in such amazing spots around the world and this marina is definitely a hidden gem.

"The facilities are terrific with a crew lounge and all the facilities you could imagine. Location is right on the doorstep to the Great Barrier Reef and the superb cruising grounds of the Whitsundays and the staff are just wonderful. This is a definite stop on any yacht's itinerary."

With berthing capacity to 80m and a range of dedicated superyacht services, Coral Sea Marina has been redeveloped with this luxury yacht sector in mind. A vibrant resort village, access to mainland services and the addition of a 77-room boutique hotel, Coral Sea Resort, has positioned the marina as a premium superyacht facility at the heart of the Whitsunday and Great Barrier Reef.

James Kennedy, Captain of Lady E (75m), who visited the marina this year, explains of his time in the Whitsundays, "Coral Sea Marina was an excellent staging point for our most recent Whitsunday's charter. The marina managers, maintenance team and security detail were friendly, accommodating and went out of their way to ensure our provisioning, extensive deliveries, crew changeovers, and guest welcome was efficient and professional."

Coral Sea Marina Resort, through its commitment to growing the Australian superyacht industry, has become a superyacht hub in one of the world's most untapped and breathtaking yachting destinations.
