Ecoworks Marine has today announced Neumünster based Brockhausen Marinevertrieb as their German and Austrian distributor looking after the DACH markets.

Ecoworks Marine is the leading range of sustainable cleaning products in the marine industry, founded in 2015 by father son team, Scott and Angus Johnston. Angus, ex Bosun of J Class Ranger, became acutely aware of the damage the cleaning products he was using on board were doing to the oceans. He decided he had had enough of using harmful cleaning products on the boats he was working on and asked his father, already involved in the sustainable cleaning products, to help him. Together with two doctors of biochemistry they developed a more ocean and human friendly range of products specifically for the marine world.

Today Ecoworks is available widely across Europe and has partnered with fellow sustainability advocates 11th Hour Racing Ocean Race team as well as yacht builders such as Princess Yachts and Silent Yachts.

Klaus Brockhausen brought marine sales Brockhausen to life more than 40 years ago. He turned his hobby - sailing - into a career. In the meantime, son Pit Nicolas and grandson Johann Heinrich are also part of the business, so that the family operates with three generations.

True to the motto "strong brands", Marinevertrieb Brockhausen only brokers high-quality products from well-known manufacturers. Quality is top priority to the company who believe it is part of the essential elements for safety on the water as well as the environment.

Marine sales Brockhausen lives from its network, great importance is attached to maintaining and constantly expanding it. Always remaining at the pulse of the industry ensures Brockhausen can act as a problem solver for partners and friends.

Marinevertrieb Brockhausen will be importing Ecoworks range of eco cleaning products for chandleries, marinas and shipyards as well as visiting superyachts to the well known German yards. They have already taken delivery of their first order ready for the 2022 season and have already taken orders themselves.

Co-founder, Angus said of the new agreement "we'd been talking with Brockhausen for a while about working together and liked how they took their time to investigate the market properly. At METS in 2021 several things came together to make us both feel now was the right time to invest in bringing Ecoworks to the German market and we agreed a distribution deal. As markets start to open up again, we're excited to grow into the German market."

Pit Brockhausen, Managing Director of Brockhausen Marinevertrieb adds, "The whole team of Brockhausen Marinevertrieb is happy and excited to finally start the exclusive cooperation with Ecoworks Marine. We are proud that Ecoworks is putting trust in us to take care of the DACH marine market. The potential for ecological and sustainable cleaning products is huge and necessary and we are glad to have the possibility to work for a global brand like Ecoworks. Our family business is looking forward to a great and long term partnership with the Johnston family and Ecoworks Marine."
