AMS presents at METS Trade in Amsterdam (SYP - HALL10 - STAND 10.112) the first telescopic mast with an integrated self-cleaning water jet system (patent application filed).

The project stems from a specific request from one of the largest and most renowned shipyards in the world, a request that AMS has been able to interpret and develop up to its actual realisation and commissioning.

The Italian company, continually committed to research, development and improvement of its production, has designed and created this system, filing a patent application, which ensures effective automatic cleaning of the outer surface of the mast, eliminating the potential risk of scratches due to the presence of debris or foreign bodies.

Some advantages of the masts made by AMS: carbon fibre extrusions, flush use for helideck use, fixed tube installed on board completely watertight no need for cable reels (the electrical cable is completely hidden inside the system), the system when extended is self-tensioning and no stays are needed, the system is supplied turnkey pre-tested.

After the great success of the A-Frame crane, designed and manufactured for the first Flexplorer of the Cantiere delle Marche shipyard, AMS is proud to announce the delivery of the second unit.

The A-frame crane, perfectly integrated in the deck (flush installation), is a true work of engineering, allowing the launching of an 8.5m tender while guaranteeing the full usability of the deck layout. From a functional point of view, the A-frame allows very safe loading and unloading operations and eliminates the ship's problems during operations, which moreover take place in a more protected water space, being located at the stern of the ship.

Considering the evolution and continuous growth of the company in recent years, AMS has invested in the construction of its new headquarters, a structure of approximately 2000 square metres that brings together offices, design and production in a single new location organised to guarantee maximum efficiency and to better serve its customers.

Thanks to the skilful logistical organisation, procurement, storage and delivery of materials are organised according to well-structured spaces and processes, as is the disposal of waste materials in a sustainable manner.
