A very important activity is taking place on Wednesday 22 March 2023 in the Patterson Lakes (South East) area - Industry Immersion Day.
So far BIAV members JV Marine, Impact Boats, Dunbier, Mercury, Patterson Lakes Marina, Composite Constructions, HEADStart, 38 South, Nautek, GoTAFE, Victorian Boat Sales, and Aus Institute of Engineering are on-board.
This activity is one of our key initiatives to help tackle to our current skills shortages, as well as the need to better profile our industry, and attract new people to it. This very important activity will only be possible if industry engages and if you can get involved.
BIAV members can do so by either being open on the day, and welcoming small groups as they come through or by setting up a small display at the hub (indoor hall) at the Patterson Lakes Community Centre. Call or email to get involved.
