BIAV announces new Manager - Education and Industry Skills

We are delighted to announce Dan Brown as the BIAV newly appointed Manager - Education and Industry Skills. This follows an extensive recruitment process and interview series, of a strong applicant pool. Dan will commence with BIAV on Monday 20 March.

Dan has extensive experience in the education, training, RTO and recruitment spaces, and joins us following recent National Sales, and Business Development Manager roles with the Greenhill Education Group, and the Ashley Institute of Training.

Dan will join the small BIAV team and focus his work on; improving the recruitment and retention of apprentices, identifying and addressing industry skills needs, addressing workforce shortages, liaising with TAFEs and other education entities, assisting BIAV members, and, advising and leading with regard to the potential establishment of a marine industry training and induction program. Dan will manage the BIAV industry hubs at expos, boat shows, immersions days, and oversee the apprentice awards.
