ABYMA Industry Skills and Qualifications Survey

by Antigua and Barbuda Marine Association 11 Oct 2023 10:39 PDT

As we build up to the 2nd Annual ABYMA Industry Showcase and businesses are finalising plans for the upcoming Winter season, it brings into the spotlight the critical labour force which is the backbone of the industry.

A number of stakeholders have been looking at opportunities to collaborate with educational institutions to provide much needed training and development to support the industry.

More information is needed to understand specific skills gaps and training requirements across the board. With that in mind the following survey has been created. it will take about 10 minutes to complete.

Board member Peter Anthony says, "Be as specific as you can about the skills and qualifications you want to see people trained and educated in as this will help us build up a clear picture of the priorities for the industry. We want to continue to build our workforce in Antigua and Barbuda, but need to ensure we focus growth in the. key areas needed for the industry to develop."

To take the survey please click the 'Take the Survey' link below. We appreciate all input from our members to better understand our challenges and opportunities.

For any queries please email or call 736-7697.
