Antigua and Barbuda Yachting and Marina Association heads to Toronto and Düsseldorf Boat Shows

by Antigua and Barbuda Yachting & Marine Association 18 Jan 05:27 PST 18-26 January 2025

The Antigua and Barbuda Yachting and Marina Association (ABYMA) is thrilled to announce its participation in the upcoming Toronto and Düsseldorf Boat Shows, in collaboration with the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA). Attendees can visit the Antigua and Barbuda destination stands at both events to discover the vibrant yachting and marine industry of Antigua and Barbuda.

From exhilarating racing events to serene cruising experiences, and from dinghy sailing to professional sail training courses, our team will showcase the myriad opportunities that make Antigua and Barbuda a premier yachting destination.

Pete Anthony, owner of OnDeck, will represent the ABYMA at the Toronto Boat Show alongside the Canadian Tourism Office. With extensive knowledge of the region, he is eager to share insights about what makes Antigua and Barbuda an idyllic spot for yachting enthusiasts. Meanwhile, Devin Joseph from ABTA will be on hand at the Düsseldorf Boat Show, partnering with the UK Tourism Office to discuss the region's unique offerings.

Both representatives will be available to discuss chartering options, bringing your own boat, marinas, boatyards, and the extensive range of marine services available in Antigua and Barbuda.

"The yachting industry is critical to the economic performance of Antigua and Barbuda," says the Vice President of ABYMA Bobby Reis, also a member of the Antigua & Barbuda Sailing & Events Committee. "We are delighted to collaborate with the Tourism Authority to represent our beautiful islands in international markets. We look forward to sharing the allure of our destination and welcoming more visitors to experience our exceptional hospitality."
