Specialist galley manufacturer GN Espace continues to celebrate its fifteenth year as a pioneer in onboard cooking solutions, when the company exhibits at METSTRADE from Wednesday 15th November. GN Espace will showcase a proven range of LPG and electric induction cookers, hobs, ovens and sink systems while highlighting the cutting-edge products that are leading the way in innovative on-board energy savings.

The GN Espace high quality Levante and OceanChef cookers plus Gastronorm sinks and containers are chosen by prestige yacht builders and superyacht designers around the world. The range seamlessly integrates to create a smooth through-galley work flow combining looks, performance and the practicality needed for catering on the water. Our video below demonstrates this perfectly.

GN Espace will be showing its brand new Eco-door at METSTRADE for the first time. Launched just a few weeks ago, the Eco-door can be fitted to the inside of a boat's electric oven door to keep heat in, so that a hot casserole of food, just cooked on the hob, can keep on slow cooking without the oven even being turned on, in the style of a traditional hay oven - a significant energy saver.

With yachts moving towards all-electric capabilities and away from fossil fuel generation and gas cooking, GN Espace set their goal fifteen years ago to use the template of their marine gas cookers to develop advanced electric versions. The materials and construction used in the gas models that are still sold today were put through their paces in the tough marine environment, providing a proven foundation on which to develop the electric induction cookers now offered by GN Espace.

"Our marine grade components and the performance of our products at sea have turned the electric dream into reality," comments Director Julian Kimberley. "It is very rewarding to see the success of our electric cookers."

He adds "We have managed to overcome the considerable challenge of using electric power at sea, tuning the available technology and construction methods to ensure there is no compromise to cooking results. You get the performance you would expect in your home kitchen."
