In our efforts to promote the boating industry as a great career path, BIA has commenced taking careers advisors around the Coomera Marine Precinct and the TAFE Coomera Marine Centre of Excellence.
With 14 local school representatives on two occasions in February seeing first-hand the purpose built TAFE facilities as well as the marinas and businesses on Waterway Drive. Taking the advisors on a guided tour of the precinct enables them to hear about the job opportunities that exist in the marine industry and to see the word class facilities from where the businesses operate.
BIA and TAFE Queensland will continue to offer these opportunities throughout the year.
