New Zealand Marinas & Boatyard Conference

by New Zealand Marina Operators Association 30 Jul 2024 23:23 PDT 11-13 September 2024

Greetings,

Registrations are now open for the NZMOA Marinas and Boatyard Conference, and were excited to update you on the program, speakers, and plans for this year's event, to be held at the stunning Parliament House.

Our aim is to deliver an event that gives you knowledge and tools applicable to your job that you simply won't get anywhere else (and a great social program too).

Program highlights

From the presentation of the 2024 Health of the Marina Industry survey results, to the economic outlook, the latest in government thinking, to navigating the complexities of building new marinas or extensions to future planning, funding of projects, marina operations, Artificial Intelligence, marine biosecurity, innovation showcases, and more, our program is designed to equip you with the latest insights.

Led by host Phil Wardale, we have assembled a remarkable program of speakers to share their experience and to bring new and emerging knowledge to the forefront.

Plus:

  • Awards Dinner: Celebrate the winners of the NZMOA Awards at the stunning Banquet Hall, with entertainment from comedian Ben Hurley. Dress code: formal.
  • Casual Dinner: An informal evening at the famous One Red Dog on Wellington's waterfront to network and relax.
  • Tour: Explore Wellington's marinas and boatyards on the final day.

When and where?

The conference will be held at Parliament House on Wednesday, 11 September, and Thursday, 12 September, followed by a tour of Wellington marinas and boatyards on Friday, 13 September. We recommend arriving in Wellington on Tuesday night.

What next?
