The boating public will get its first look at Molabo's newest innovations at boot Düsseldorf, the world's largest watersports and boat show.

From January 18 to 26, visitors can experience Molabo's full lineup of award-winning electric drive systems in Hall 10, Booth G63.

Expanding innovation: powerful, emission-free solutions

For 2025, Molabo is strengthening its collaboration with the marine industry by delivering an expanded range of reliable, easy-to-install, and cost-effective electric drive systems. Unlike high-voltage systems, which require costly safety protocols and can only be serviced by certified personnel, Molabo's low-voltage technology is safe-to-touch, streamlining installation and maintenance. This allows boatbuilders and owners to save both time and money without compromising on power or performance.

Molabo's 48-volt Aries drive systems have already earned their place among top-tier recreational marine applications. Trusted by renowned boatbuilders such as Baltic Yachts and Frauscher Bootswerft, the Aries system is a proven solution for electric and hybrid boats up to 21 meters.

In a recently released video, the electric boating experts from Frauscher highlighted the efficiency gained on the water and on the production line when they switched to the Aries low-voltage electric drive system.

Frauscher's director of sales and marketing, Florian Helmberger, noted the Molabo system comes with compelling benefits for boaters as well: "It can be serviced by any electrician, runs extremely smoothly, and has proven to be very, very reliable." The renowned Austrian boatyard now offers the Molabo drive system as standard on the best-selling 650 Alassio, along with the luxurious 740 Mirage and Mirage Air.

Beyond leisure boating, Molabo's systems power heavy-duty maritime applications worldwide, from the Kiel Fire Department to the Port of Barcelona.

"Our patented ISCAD technology delivers an emission-free drive system that's both powerful and dependable, even for vessels operating all day, every day," said Adrian Patzak, COO of Molabo GmbH.

Safety meets simplicity: the Aries i30 Drive System

The Aries i30 drive system brings Molabo's patented ISCAD technology to the market at a more accessible price point. The new system, previously announced as the Aries i25, has been upgraded after intensive testing and now delivers up to 29.9 kW of power at just 48 V.

"The new Aries i30 drive system is designed for boaters seeking a compact, cost-effective solution for displacement boats up to 7 tons, planing boats up to 8 meters, and sailboats up to 10 meters," said Patzak.

A holistic boating ecosystem: new integrations for 2025

In addition to its growing list of boatbuilder partners, Molabo continues to enhance its electric boating solutions through strategic partnerships.

Boatbuilders now have two modular, fully integrated energy storage and charging solutions featuring safe lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology to choose from. Ultra-compact and lightweight battery banks from 24 kWh up to 60 kWh built with Mastervolt components will be available across the entire product lineup, catering to those seeking maximum power density.

When price performance is the priority, a new battery bank using Victron components offers a highly competitive cost per kWh. The state-of-the-art energy storage system is available in easy-to-install banks from 30 kWh to 135 kWh, accommodating also large vessels or those with extended range needs. Both storage options are seamlessly integrated into Molabo's powertrain and energy management system, empowering boatbuilders to craft tailored electric and hybrid solutions for sailing, planing, and displacement vessels.

All Aries systems, including existing installations, are now compatible with Dockmate systems. This plug-and-play wireless remote control delivers seamless maneuvering and intuitive docking even when short-handed.

"At Molabo, we're not just building electric drive systems—we're shaping the future of boating. By working hand-in-hand with our industry partners, we're delivering safe, powerful, and accessible solutions that make emission-free boating a reality for everyone," said Adrian Patzak, COO of Molabo GmbH. "Together, we're driving the transition toward a cleaner, more sustainable marine industry."
