Cantiere Mimì is expanding its international network and has now entered an agreement with Australian boating experts with a marine heritage of 120 years - Boatology, that will exclusively distribute the Neapolitan yard's entire range in Australia and New Zealand, where gozzo boats are perfectly suited.

The first to be delivered will be a Libeccio 13.5 Cabin in time for the Sydney Boat Show in November 2025, with an 11-metre model available shortly afterwards.

After moving into the Asian market, with a first sale in Hong Kong last year and a series of contacts with local dealers, Cantiere Mimì can announce an important new development, the launch of a collaboration with Boatology, an Australian company that will exclusively distribute the Neapolitan yard's boats in Australia and New Zealand. The first delivery will be a Libeccio 13.5 Cabin, with an 11-metre model available shortly afterwards.

Boatology's founder, Zain Moloobhoy, is part of the fourth generation of an entrepreneurial family with a marine heritage dating back to 1905 and has been a boat lover his whole life. "About a year ago, I took a gozzo on a cruise along the Amalfi coast," says Moloobhoy, who established Boatology a few months ago, "and I fell in love with the boat's style, stability and performance. Soon after, I decided to set up Boatology and contacted Cantiere Mimì. More and more Australian and New Zealand owners are looking to legacy, established family boat builders for their uncompromising dedication to high quality and exquisite styling. These gozzo boats deliver tremendous seakeeping ability, even in choppy water, and their stunning build quality is typical of the Italian family boatbuilding tradition.

The balance between the sophisticated design, multiple on-board spaces and easy handling of Mimì gozzos makes them ideal for our beautiful waters here in Australia and New Zealand, while on an aesthetic level they conjure up the charm of the Mediterranean, which is equally lovely to behold in Sydney as it is in Sorento."
