RAD Propulsion, a leading innovator in electric marine propulsion systems, today announced the expansion of its international dealer network with new strategic partnerships in the Netherlands, India and Japan. This move is a testament of RAD's commitment to accelerate the global shift towards smart, clean, and efficient boating.

Energyboats will serve as RAD's official dealer in the Netherlands, focusing specifically on the Benelux region. Energyboats specialises exclusively in 100 per cent electrically powered boats and works only with manufacturers that take the electric motor as their starting point. "In our view, only then can a fully-fledged alternative to the traditional combustion engine be created," explains Duco Snijder, owner of Energyboats. "RAD is one of the few manufacturers that truly understands this and has developed an excellent product."

The partnership will target boat builders and professional users throughout Benelux, including government services, nautical police, research agencies, and environmental and water management authorities.

Enviroshift, an eco-conscious technology provider, will play a pivotal role in introducing RAD's cutting-edge electric propulsion systems to the Indian marine market, particularly across the fishing, tourism, defense, and emerging USV (Uncrewed Surface Vehicle) sectors. This collaboration aims to accelerate the shift from fossil fuel-based systems to sustainable electric alternatives without requiring major vessel modifications, offering customers both capital and operational cost savings.

By working closely with The Sustainability Group and leveraging the FuturePlus platform, Enviroshift and RAD will also enable clients to track and enhance their sustainability contributions. "RAD's electric propulsion system isa breakthrough in the marine industry," said Indiragandhi, Director of Enviroshift Solutions, "and our partnership ensures that sustainable innovation reaches the segments that need it most."

EV Boat Sales (EBS) in Japan joins as a key partner, bringing electric propulsion closer to mainstream adoption in the region. With a unique understanding of Japan's stringent inspection and licensing systems, EBS is preparing the market for RAD's intuitive and high-performance systems. Customers can expect innovation designed from the ground up for ease of use, such as RAD's iconic RADBus for seamless connectivity, integrated drive-by-wire steering with a 180 degrees range, and compact system design. These features address long-standing concerns around complexity, maintenance, and reliability in electric propulsion.

"It has been such a pity that customers have the desire to go green and go electrified, yet in the end, are blocked by fear due to limited awareness or access to an easy to operate and fit out product line," said Kuto Kiyoto, sales president at EV Boat Sales. "We believe RAD will be the game changer not only in Japan but also in a lot of APAC areas." Together, the companies are targeting opportunities such as government tenders, island transport in the Setouchi Inland Sea, and agricultural water farms, with future plans to integrate autonomous capabilities through AI partnerships.

"We're thrilled to welcome these forward-thinking companies to our growing dealer network," said Dan Hook, CEO of RAD Propulsion. "Each partner brings deep local expertise and a shared passion for electric energy on the water, enabling us to deliver superior propulsion solutions to customers across these vital markets."

These new partnerships enable RAD Propulsion to provide more localised demonstrations, service, and customer support while promoting sustainable boating solutions for both recreational and commercial users. The company's expanding network reflects increasing global demand for reliable, high-performance electric propulsion systems.
