Day Two of The Yacht Sales Co Sail Paradise 2025 brought a change of pace for competitors, as light morning winds delayed the start of racing before conditions improved to deliver a spectacular afternoon on the Gold Coast.

Crews spent the morning cruising and patiently awaiting the call to start, before a fresh breeze rolled through around midday—setting the stage for close, tactical racing across all divisions.

"Days like today really test a crew's focus and teamwork," said Southport Yacht Club Commodore Glenn Burrell, who is looking to defend his title aboard Black Diamond. "Once the wind filled in, it was all go, great to see the fleet powered up and enjoying the day."

With only one day of racing remaining, anticipation is building ahead of tomorrow's final showdown on the King's Birthday public holiday, which will determine the overall champions for the Australian Sailing Queensland Yachting Championships and The Yacht Sales Co Sail Paradise 2025 Regatta.

The regatta continues to be proudly supported by Experience Gold Coast, along with key event partners The Yacht Sales Co, Club Marine, XXXX, Dufour Yachts, TRYP by Wyndham Southport, and Dreamworld Australia.
