Groupe Beneteau continues to expand its service offering in the Mediterranean with the acquisition of BMS, a company renowned for its expertise in the maintenance, customization, and refit of large LAGOON catamarans.
Each year, more than 50 LAGOON are serviced there. This integration allows owners to benefit from comprehensive, tailor-made service covering maintenance, customization, refit, and technical support for their boats.
A Strategic Partnership Serving Customers
Based in Canet-en-Roussillon, BMS has 14 employees and generated revenue of €3.3 million in 2025. By joining Groupe Beneteau, BMS retains its local roots, while its two founders, Pascal Cantiran and Denis Ranjard, remain at the helm to ensure continuity, proximity, and expertise.
With this integration, LAGOON—Groupe Beneteau's catamaran brand—is expanding its global network, which already includes seven service centers. Owners now have a strategic anchor point in the Mediterranean for reliable and sustainable support.
A Shared Vision
"With the acquisition of BMS, we are taking a new step forward in the development of our service offering. This merger illustrates our desire to support our customers throughout the life of their boat," said Bruno Thivoyon, Chairman of Groupe Beneteau Executive Board.
Clément Himily, Managing Director, Sailing Business Unit, adds: "This acquisition reinforces our ambition to make LAGOON a global benchmark not only in terms of products and responsible innovation, but also in terms of services and customer support."
Pascal Cantiran, co-founder of BMS, concludes: "Much more than an alliance, this is the meeting of two complementary visions: Groupe Beneteau's capacity for innovation and development, and BMS's local expertise with owners. Together, we will redefine the concept of customer service and take it even further."
