Bulgarian luxury catamaran manufacturer Omaya Yachts has selected Peter Hansen Yacht Brokers Raby Bay to represent the brand in Australia, bringing European design excellence to the growing Australian luxury yacht market.

With its deep expertise in the Australian yacht market spanning brokerage, service and customer care, Peter Hansen Yacht Brokers will be offering Omaya yachts to meet the increasing demand for high-quality power catamarans in Australia's expanding luxury marine sector. With its commitment to matching clients with the best possible vessels and providing exceptional ongoing support, the dealer is perfectly positioned to introduce Omaya's new era of luxury yachts to Australian waters.

Donald Home, managing director at Peter Hansen commented on the partnership: "We're really excited to bring Omaya Yachts to Australia, the market is ready for a luxurious, quality offering, such as its debut model the OMAYA 50. The blend of modern design, luxury finishes, and innovative layouts which create a real sense of space is something we haven't seen here before. While this is our first international brand partnership, we have the necessary experience in the Australian yacht market to build the Omaya brand and surpass our customers' expectations of luxury yachting.”

The partnership addresses a clear gap in the Australian power catamaran market, where buyers are increasingly seeking high-quality, capable, modern and versatile vessels that combine luxury and comfort with performance. As the market has matured and become more sophisticated, particularly since 2020, buyers are looking for their "on water home away from home" and expecting the same level of luxury and quality as they have in their homes.

Kaloyan Radulov, CEO of Omaya Yachts said: “We're excited to partner with Peter Hansen Yacht Brokers to represent Omaya in the Australian market. The team’s deep understanding of the local yacht market and commitment to exceptional customer service aligns perfectly with our values. The Australian luxury yacht market has experienced significant growth, and we believe Peter Hansen is ideally positioned to introduce Omaya's luxury catamarans to discerning Australian buyers who appreciate quality, innovation and performance."

Peter Hansen will offer comprehensive services including sales, technical support, and maintenance through their established network of specialist partners, ensuring a seamless experience for Omaya catamaran owners. The company will also provide unique customer experiences, including guided trips to favourite destinations to help owners learn how to get the best out of their new yacht.

Following its recent world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the team celebrated by taking away the World Yacht Trophies special award for 'Catamaran Revelation' and a shortlisting for ‘Best Exterior Design’ in the Catamaran category which the team was particularly proud of when competing against established brands in the industry with the backing of renowned design studios.

Designed for the private and charter markets, the OMAYA 50 is a 50ft luxury catamaran featuring a best-in-class beam of 8.4 metres, providing unrivalled livable space exceeding 150 sqm within the lower and main decks, as well as its lavish flybridge.
