Momentum building for Gippsland Lakes Boat Show 2026

by Boating Industry Association of Victoria 17 Dec 2025 13:17 PST 27 February - 1 March 2026

Planning for the 2026 Gippsland Lakes Boat Show (GLBS) is progressing strongly, with the event website and free public ticketing now live. Early interest has been encouraging, and we are continuing to build a dynamic program designed to maximise visitation and showcase the strength of Victoria's marine sector.

This year, we are working closely with two major community events taking place on the same weekend: the Paynesville Classic Boat Rally and the Raymond Island Car & Bike Show. Together, these events will create a comprehensive festival atmosphere across the Gippsland Lakes, offering visitors multiple reasons to spend time in the region and delivering increased exposure for participating marine businesses.

In addition to the on-water and onshore displays, GLBS 2026 will also include a new Bream Fishing Competition activation, which is expected to draw strong interest from recreational anglers. Further details will be shared shortly.

With momentum building and public promotion now under way, it is not too late for businesses to secure their place at the inaugural GLBS. Exhibitors considering participation are encouraged to make contact Katrina as early as possible.
