Bahrain-based boat builder "H Al Dhaen Boats" will make its official entry into the European market at boot Düsseldorf 2026, exhibiting from January 17-25 at Messe Düsseldorf. The appearance marks a major milestone for the shipyard and the European premiere of its all-new DB 380SC, unveiled for the first time in Europe.
H Al Dhaen Boats is backed by Mumtalakat, the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Mumtalakat's portfolio includes globally recognised brands across strategic sectors, ranging from advanced manufacturing and automotive to aviation, including the McLaren Racing Team and the national carrier, Gulf Air. This long-term institutional framework provides H Al Dhaen with a stable foundation to invest in design, engineering, and product development with a clear, forward-looking perspective.
Designed in collaboration with the renowned Mulder Design, the DB 380SC is a 41-foot motorboat that reflects H Al Dhaen's growing reputation for quality, innovation, and refined craftsmanship. This is the first project that the two powerhouses has designed and built together since they started this collaboration earlier in 2025.
Mulder Design is a leading Dutch yacht design studio based in the Netherlands, internationally recognised for its work across motor yachts, custom superyachts and naval architecture. With decades of experience, the studio combines refined aesthetics, engineering expertise and a deep understanding of performance-driven design.
The model has been developed to meet the expectations of discerning international owners and is RINA certified, underscoring the shipyard's commitment to the highest standards of safety and quality.
The DB 380SC offers exceptionally generous accommodation for its class, featuring a well-appointed cabin, pantry, and head, making it equally suited for extended cruising and relaxed day boating. Above deck, the yacht showcases a walkaround layout with elegant and sociable seating areas both forward and aft, creating seamless flow between relaxation, entertaining, and performance.
"H Al Dhaen Boats has reached a pivotal moment in its evolution," said Captain Abdulla Al Murbati, CEO of H Al Dhaen Boats. "Our debut at boot Düsseldorf represents not only our first step into the European market, but also a clear statement of the level of quality, design, and engineering we are delivering today. The DB 380SC embodies our vision—combining robust build quality with refined design—and we are proud to introduce it to a European audience for the very first time."
H Al Dhaen Boats has already embarked on a structured internationalization journey and today operates through an established dealer network across key global markets, including the Middle East, Turkey, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Caribbean, reinforcing the brand's growing international presence. The participation at boot Düsseldorf represents a strategic step in its international expansion as it aims to grow its dealer network within Europe.
"Our long-term goal in Europe is to establish trusted dealer partnerships," Captain Al Murbati added. "This exhibition is the beginning of a wider expansion strategy, supported by new models currently under development in collaboration with Mulder Design."
In addition to the DB 380SC, H Al Dhaen Boats will preview upcoming models as part of its ongoing collaboration with Mulder Design, signalling an ambitious future product lineup tailored for global markets.
"H Al Dhaen Boats" will be located at stand Hall 1 stand A-36. Their DB 380SC model will also be available for viewings.
