Mark Richards to deliver closing keynote at Marinas26

by Marina Industries Association 15 Feb 21:05 PST

We are excited to announce that renowned maritime leader, boatbuilder, and ocean racing legend Mark Richards will deliver the closing Keynote at the Marinas26 International Conference & Trade Exhibition, taking place 25-26 May 2026 at the RACV Royal Pines Resort.

Drawing on decades of experience in marine design, innovation, and competitive sailing, Mark will share his insights on leadership and how marinas can evolve to provide the best services and facilities for the next generation of boaters. As a marina owner himself, his address will resonate with our delegates, including marina owners, operators, designers, and suppliers shaping the future of our industry.

Mark described this opportunity as a "full circle moment," reflecting on his journey from dock attendant at the Royal Motor Yacht Club on Pittwater to campaigning ocean races, designing and building hundreds of boats, and now owning his second marina.

The program is almost finalised, and delegates can look forward to inspiring leaders and forward-focused conversations shaping the future of our industry. Stay tuned for more updates.
