ASMEX 2026 brings Industry Insight, Networking and Celebration to the Gold Coast

The Australian Superyacht, Marine Export and Commercial Marine Conference (ASMEX) will return to the Gold Coast on 19 - 20 May 2026, delivering two days of industry connection, business insight and celebration for the Australian marine sector.

Held at The Langham Gold Coast, ASMEX 2026 features a refined format including an afternoon speaker program, the Australian Marine Industry Awards Gala Dinner and a full-day South-East Queensland industry tour to the Volvo Penta Headquarters and Training Facility.

The Tuesday afternoon speaker sessions will focus on practical business insight, with speakers including Kristina Agustin, Founder of Southern Sky AI, who will explore the evolving role of AI within the marine industry and how businesses can harness intelligent automation and emerging technologies.

Marketing strategist Sarah Colgate will deliver a dedicated marketing session focused on strengthening business visibility and engagement, while renowned motivational speaker Mick Colliss will share insights on leadership, resilience and performance.

Bank of Queensland Chief Economist Peter Munckton will provide an economic update and outlook relevant to the marine sector, whilst David Good, CEO of Superyacht Australia will present the annual 2025 superyacht visitation data.

A highlight of ASMEX 2026 will be the Australian Marine Industry Awards Gala Dinner on Tuesday evening, commencing with Mayor Tom Tate's ASMEX Reception. The event recognises the outstanding achievements, innovation, export success and leadership shaping Australia's marine industry, while provide a valuable opportunity for the sector to come together to celebrate excellence across the superyacht, marine export and commercial marine sectors.

On Wednesday 20 May, ASMEX continues with delegates participating in a full-day South-East Queensland industry tour, visiting to the Volvo Penta headquarters and training facility, providing a remarkable behind-the-scenes insight into one of the region's key marine businesses.

Registration provides access to all three ASMEX events at a bundled rate, at the 2025 Awards Gala price of just $350+GST for members and $399+GST for non-members.

ASMEX 2026 will once again bring together leaders from across the marine industry for two days of insight, connection and industry engagement, reinforcing the strength and diversity of Australia's marine sector.
