Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC), one of the world's largest marine technology companies, has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, detailing meaningful progress in initiatives that benefit its people, its products and the environment.

"2025 was a milestone year for Brunswick, one in which we met or exceeded our environmental sustainability commitments set in 2022," said Jennifer Koenig, Chief Sustainability Officer. "Sustainability is woven into how we innovate, how we operate and how we serve our customers, and the progress detailed in this report makes clear the momentum we are building for the years ahead."

The global market for new boat builds in the 2023-2025 period has stabilised (-2.1%, standing at €33.3 billion), however the Italian boatbuilding industry has managed to buck the global market trend (at around +5% in the 2023-2025 period). Approximately 70% of Italian production value is attributable to large yachts and superyachts, confirming the Italian boatbuilding industry's focus on the high-end segment of the market. These are just a preview of the findings listed in the fourth edition of "The State of the Art of the Global Yachting Market", a report produced by Deloitte.

The sailing and maritime media can play an important role in bringing together the global sailing community. At a time when much of the news cycle is dominated by division, uncertainty and negativity, sailing continues to represent something increasingly valuable: freedom, adventure, nature, heritage, education, sport and human connection. World Sailing Day has been created as a neutral, non-political annual day for the entire sailing and marine community to use, celebrate and benefit from together.

Following another successful year at the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition & Conference (IBEX), Yachting Ventures is pleased to announce the fourth instalment of the IBEX Start-Up Pavilion. Taking place at the Tampa Convention Center from 6-8 October, the pavilion will once again provide a dedicated platform for emerging leisure marine companies to showcase their technologies, products and solutions to an audience of OEMs, boatbuilders, dealers, distributors, investors and marine decision-makers.

Rightboat, the global online marketplace for boats and yachts, has announced a strategic partnership with YachtOne, the AI-powered brokerage operating platform founded by marine industry insider Garrett Schwartz and tech expert Domagoj Lalk Vidovic. The collaboration merges Rightboat's marketplace reach with YachtOne's tools, including brokerage websites, CRM, AI-assisted buyer engagement and deal pipeline management.

FarSounder has expanded the capabilities of its Argos Forward Looking Navigation Sonar with an integration with Tocaro Blue's ProteusCore software. This new integration brings AI-powered Radar perception to FarSounder's SonaSoft Lt navigation software, delivering even greater situational awareness for users navigating challenging marine environments.

Highfield Boats, a leading Rigid Inflatable Boat brand, is proud to announce that Kirby Marine in Newport, R.I. is a new Highfield Dealer/Partner. Kirby Marine was founded in 2020 by Rome Kirby, a world champion professional sailor and America's Cup veteran. A one-stop marine center that offers boat and engine sales and service, storage, winterization, hauling and launching, electronics installation, refits and repowers, Kirby Marine now represents Highfield Boats exclusively throughout Rhode Island.

The response to the Million Pound Challenge is already building momentum — and there's still time for you to join the program. This summer, ASA members across the country will come together with one shared goal: removing 1,000,000 pounds of trash from our waterways. From local boat ramps and shorelines to rivers, lakes, and coastal communities, this is an opportunity for our industry to demonstrate leadership where it matters most.
