We have a huge amount to be proud of in this industry. It's time to celebrate our success.

The NZMOA Awards are now open for 2026 with categories for marinas, boatyards and associates, no matter how big or small, and whether located in a small town or city.

Categories

  • Marina of the Year
  • Boatyard of the Year
  • Outstanding Initiative - for Associate Members
  • Outstanding Initiative - for Marinas and Boatyards
  • Outstanding Individual Contribution (by nomination)

Benefits

  • Showcase your operation to your marina industry peers
  • Demonstrate your success to your customers, local communities and stakeholders
  • To foster staff pride and team culture
  • For associates, to tell your story and highlight your innovation and value to the marina and boatyard market
  • Preparation of the entry itself can be a valuable opportunity to consider your business from an external perpective and to involve staff in this process. Judges provide written feedback.

Judging process

The initial entry form includes a series of questions to help the judging panels understand your marina, boatyard or project and how it stands out. You may be asked to take part in an online interview.

Fairness is important and panels consist of industry experts and respected independent judges who are selected to ensure no conflicts of interest with each category's entrants.
