Finnish renewable marine energy innovator Remoran Expands into the US Market - Partners with Bainbridge International to Distribute the Remoran Wave 3 Hydrogenerator

Remoran Oy, the Finnish innovator in renewable marine energy, has officially announced its expansion into the United States maritime market. In a strategic move to meet the growing demand for sustainable ocean cruising, Remoran has signed an exclusive US distribution agreement with Bainbridge International, a legendary name in the marine industry.

Established in 1917, Bainbridge International is a leading sailcloth manufacturer and marine hardware distributor. Notably, Bainbridge brings over 10 years of proven expertise in supplying hydrogenerators to the American market. As the official U.S. distributor, Bainbridge International will leverage its extensive network to provide nationwide wholesale availability and logistics, supporting marine professionals with streamlined access to Remoran's advanced renewable energy solutions.

The Remoran Wave 3 addresses one of the most critical challenges faced by long-distance cruisers: energy independence. Generating up to 300 W of clean electricity whenever the vessel is under sail, the system effectively solves onboard power shortages and drastically reduces the need to run noisy, polluting diesel engines for battery charging. Whether crossing the Atlantic, cruising the Great Lakes, or navigating the trade winds of the Caribbean, sailors can now rely on a constant, self-sustaining power source.

Unlike traditional solar and wind options, the Remoran Wave 3 offers unparalleled reliability regardless of weather conditions. While solar panels fall short at night and under heavy cloud cover, and wind generators lose efficiency when sailing downwind (as apparent wind drops), the hydrogenerator thrives on the boat's movement through water. Furthermore, the system has been engineered to be as quiet as possible, preserving the serene peace of the open ocean.

Designed with Nordic practicality in mind, Wave 3 has been designed for ease of use. Once the mounting rail is installed on the transom, the external unit can be quickly attached to or removed from the rail using the quick-lock mechanism - without the need for tools. The telescopic blade and adjustable angle settings ensure smooth operation in a variety of conditions. At the heart of the system is the intelligent Remoran Charger 300W, which automatically detects both 12V and 24V battery systems and protects them from overcharging. Sailors can easily monitor real-time power generation, charge stats, and device data right from their smartphones via Bluetooth using the intuitive RemoranApp.

"Entering the US market alongside a partner of Bainbridge International's caliber is a massive milestone for Remoran," says Samuli Aura, CEO of Remoran Oy. "Bainbridge's incredible heritage dating back to 1917, combined with their decade-long expertise specifically in marine hydrogeneration, makes them the perfect partner. This collaboration ensures that marine professionals and passionate sailors across the United States will receive world-class logistics and technical support as we shift the future of yachting away from fossil fuels, one mile at a time."
