Flexiteek celebrated double success at the inaugural British Marine National Awards, hosted by the British Marine Trade Association.
Flexiteek International was named British Marine Sector Association Business of the Year, while Chris Pannell, Group Sales and Marketing Manager, received the Marine Trade Young Person Award.
The two awards recognised both Flexiteek's continued business development and the contribution of emerging talent within the leisure marine industry.
The Business of the Year Award recognises a company that demonstrates overall excellence across the UK marine trades industry, including business performance, leadership, workforce development, customer satisfaction, and contribution to the wider sector.
Despite challenging global market conditions, Flexiteek has continued to achieve international growth, strengthening its operations in both the USA and Denmark while expanding its presence in new markets.
Closer collaboration across the Group has supported this growth, enabling teams to share knowledge, best practices and resources while improving efficiencies and maintaining consistent standards across manufacturing, customer service and product quality.
Innovation has also remained central to Flexiteek's continued development. The company has continued to focus on producing high-quality decking and marine products that combine performance, design and practicality, responding to the evolving needs of customers and the wider marine industry.
Alongside its focus on business growth, Flexiteek continues to invest in its people through internal training, support for external qualifications and opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Group.
The company has also continued to build long-standing relationships with leading OEM boat builders, distributors and partners around the world. These relationships are supported by Flexiteek's focus on product quality, reliability, innovation and customer service.
The evening also saw Chris Pannell recognised with the Marine Trade Young Person Award, celebrating his development and contribution to the leisure marine industry.
Since joining Flexiteek in 2023 as European Sales Manager, Chris has taken on increasing responsibility across OEM and distributor management, working with customers and partners across Europe and international markets.
Through his commercial responsibilities and involvement across the wider business, Chris has helped strengthen customer relationships, support sales growth and contribute to the company's expansion into new markets and territories.
Adam Ramsden, CEO of Flexiteek, said:
"It was a particularly proud evening for everyone at Flexiteek. These awards reflect the commitment and expertise across our business, and it was rewarding to see that recognised by our industry. Chris is a great example of the talent within our team, and I'm pleased to see his contribution recognised alongside the achievements of the wider business."
The two awards represent an important milestone for Flexiteek, recognising both the continued progress of the business and the contribution of its people.
The recognition from British Marine reflects Flexiteek's ongoing commitment to innovation, operational development, customer service and investment in its team as the business continues to grow internationally.
