Mark your calendars for the recreational boating industry's premier advocacy event in Washington, D.C. The American Boating Congress (ABC) will take place May 17-19, bringing together marine manufacturers, industry leaders, advocates, and partners from across the country to make the industry's voice heard on Capitol Hill.
The U.S. and China announced $30 billion for tariff relief, including fishing hooks and lines. The White House released a list of products recommended for reduced tariff treatment by the U.S.-China Board of Trade.
On September 15-17, the NMMA joined boating law leaders from across the country for the 67th Annual National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) Conference in Knoxville. On September 17, Ocean Craft Marine welcomed senior port and infrastructure leaders from Kenya, Angola, Senegal, and Nigeria to their Annapolis, Maryland headquarters as part of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency's U.S.-Africa Port Security Modernization Reverse Trade Mission. USTDA's reverse trade missions bring international decision-makers to the United States to see American goods, services, and technologies first-hand as they plan investments in their own infrastructure.
