Superyacht Australia united with Echo Yachts and Bali Gapura Marina to co-host the Asia Pacific Stand at the Monaco Yacht Show.

From 23-26 September the stand, located alongside Superyachts.com, profiled our region to an international audience as one unified cruising region, highlighting its diverse cruising grounds and the strength of its refit and maintenance capability.

Study tours give marina industry professionals a first-hand look at how other operators, manufacturers and infrastructure providers do things, and the chance to bring those ideas home. The MIA is running two opportunities to do exactly that — a Manufacturer and Marina Infrastructure Tour and a Thailand Study Tour — each designed to connect participants with real-world sites, systems, and people shaping the industry.

Performance Boating Sales is pleased to announce its appointment as the new Excess Catamarans representative for NSW, in partnership with Australian importer 33 South Boat Sales. Excess catamarans' range is built around the idea of "breaking the codes of sailing", and the Excess 13 is a great example, combining a performance-focused rig and sailing characteristics with the space and comfort expected of a modern cruising catamaran.

There has been an extraordinary response to Boats Afloat for the Australian Wooden Boat Festival, with hundreds of applications received from owners keen to join in on Hobart's waterfront next February. The organisers have received more applications than they are able to accommodate, so it will take some time to contact everyone. Thank you for your patience.

Performance Cruising Yachts (PCY) has been appointed as the Australian and New Zealand dealer for the prestigious Italian brand, Solaris Yachts, bringing one of Europe's most respected performance cruising brands to the region. For five decades, Solaris Yachts has created sailing yachts combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with advanced design, engineering and performance. Solaris yachts are renowned for their distinctive styling, exceptional build quality and attention to detail.

Fountaine Pajot is taking a new step in its development across Asia by strengthening its partnership with Asia Yachting. Already a partner of the brand in Hong Kong, Asia Yachting is now expanding its representation to the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore. The new agreement covers both Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans and Fountaine Pajot Yachts, up to FPY120.

Two new Caribbean models will take centre stage at the Melbourne Boat Show, as an iconic Australian brand returns. Reimagined by respected boat builder and founder of Maritimo motor yachts, Bill Barry-Cotter, for a new generation of adventurous Australian boaters, the new Caribbean 40 Flybridge Cruiser (40F) and Caribbean 27 Flybridge (27F) were launched to international acclaim at the Sanctuary Cove boat show in May.

Maritimo has appointed Boat Sales Tasmania as Maritimo consultants in Tasmania, headed up by Matthew and Alex Johnston. Based at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania in Sandy Bay, Hobart, Boat Sales Tasmania was established in 1988 and has a long history of serving the local boating community, representing Jeanneau power and sail boats and Grand Inflatable Boats.
