Suntouched Sailboats, the UK's exclusive dealer for Devoti sailing dinghies have confirmed the new dealer for the Devoti D-Zero and Devoti D-Optimist sailing dinghies as Howwhatwhere Ltd who will also be based on Hayling Island.

After many successful years of partnering with Devoti Sailing s.r.o, Rodney and Sue Cobb have decided to downsize their dealership and actually go sailing, Rodney in his Devoti D-Fantastica Finn and the two of them looking to sail together in a classic dayboat out of Bosham Sailing Club. Devoti's Roman Teply relied upon Rodney Cobb to determine the right dealer going forward, and are very pleased to be working with David Valentine of Howwhatwhere, whom Roman commented "...to be of similar blood..." and has all the right views and aspirations for the Devoti brand.

Discussions for several months have now concluded to ensure that Devoti, Suntouched, Howwhatwhere and of course the D-Zero and their D-Optimist have the best chances of success. Suntouched are continuing to supply and support the Devoti Finns and D-Ones as well as North One Design Sails, the Sandiline and Zhik clothing ranges, a range of other accessories and boat covers.

David, a keen and committed sailor of a Devoti D-Zero for over 3 years now, is excited to be building on Suntouched's successful launch of the D-Zero and wishes to expand the network of D-Zero and also Devoti D-Optimist sailors across the UK. David says "...the D-Zero is an amazing dinghy to sail with a fantastic class association, and with Devoti's passion and exceptional build quality, I believe the D-Zero and D-Optimist have only just started..."

David and Rodney will be working closely together over the next few months to ensure a seamless transfer, with the new dealership commencing as of February 1, 2018.

The RYA Dinghy Show will be the first major event, and plans for many dinghy demos and training across the UK are already underway, along with a new e-comm website and social media, and with the Class Association setting an exciting Race Program, 2018 looks set to be a fantastic year. More details on the website launch, dinghy show, and 2018 plans will follow over the next couple of weeks.
