The first Excess 11 in Asia Pacific arrives in Japan

by Excess Catamarans 8 Feb 2021 23:38 PST

The first Excess 12 and Excess 15 in Asia Pacific hit the waters in Australia (dealer: Flagstaff Marine) and New Zealand (dealer: 36 Degrees Brokers) respectively last year. The first Excess 11 in the region arrives this February in Yokohama, Japan. Commissioned by our dealer in the country, Odyssey Marine, she will have her Asia-Pacific premiere during Excess Tour in Yokohama held from March 20th to 21st. She will also be publicly presented at the Japan International Boat Show 2021 taking place from April 15th to 18th.

As the entry model of the Excess catamaran family, the Excess 11 is an uncompromisingly good performer in every aspect. She is innovatively designed with superior sailing performance, effectively-allocated spaces combining working the social functions together, as well as comfort under sail, and most of all, more exciting sailing experience to offer.

The twin helm station aft is one of the iconic features of the Excess family, offering great maneuverability and thrilling sailing sensations. The retractable Bimini over the cockpit is flexible to open for visibility or starry sky at night, to be closed for protection and privacy.

The Excess 11 is available with 3 or 4 cabins option both with a 2-head setup, boasting an expansive owner's cabin, a decent galley, a relaxing saloon, as well as ample storage spaces.

Customers satisfaction and industry accolades come along with the Excess 11. She has won in the Best Multihull Cruising Boat Under 50ft category awarded by SAIL magazine. She is also the winner of the Boat of the Year 2021 run by Cruising World magazine. What's more, the Excess 11 is nominated the Multihull of the Year 2021 by the international magazine Multihulls World. The voting is open to the owners and sailing enthusiasts around the world.
