Sail in Siam has been appointed as Barton Marine's new distributor in Thailand. Established in 2002, they are one of Thailand's top suppliers of high quality gear for boating, sailing and watersports. Managed by Doug Smith and Ratt Natchaya, they place great importance on customer service which remains a cornerstone of their business.
Before moving to Thailand, Doug was in sales for Xerox UK for almost 20 years. He is an experienced racing sailor of Platus (Beneteau 25) in One Design competitions in Thailand, and remains a prominent figure at Thailand National Platu Champions, and also crew at International Series Champions.
Ratt is the administrative manager and joined the company in 2019 having gained considerable knowledge working in the chandlery business in Phuket for 10 years. She is responsible for all overseas orders as well as importing, costing, pricing of all items in the shop and helping the sales team.
