THE FOURTH EVENT OF SEASON 3 ENDED WITH NEW ZEALAND SEALING ITS SECOND CONSECUTIVE EVENT WIN AFTER A HAT-TRICK OF FLEET RACE VICTORIES ON THE CITY-SIDE WATERS OF COPENHAGEN.
The weekend provided plenty of drama before racing even began, with Great Britain sustaining serious damage in practice, and the first day of racing called off amid lack of wind. But when racing did get underway on Saturday, it was worth the wait. Sell-out crowds lined the shore to watch a bumper four-race format and the Kiwis put in a masterful performance to dominate all three fleet races before sweeping to victory over France and Denmark in the winner-takes-all Final.
There was plenty of other drama too, including a friendly Royal race between Denmark and Australia, a near-capsize for the U.S. team, and aggressive match racing tactics throughout.
You can relive all this, and much more, with our gallery and extended highlights of the ROCKWOOL Denmark Sail Grand Prix.
