Massari Design at the Monaco Yacht Show - MY Project X, Golden Yachts and MY Ciao, CRN Ferretti

by Massari Design 26 Sep 2022 10:28 PDT

Massari Design will be in Monaco on board two exclusive jewels: the 88 m MY "Project X" by the Greek shipyard Golden Yachts and MY "Ciao" by the Italian shipyard CRN Ferretti Group.

The Fano-based studio led by architect Alessandro Massari has dominated the Italian design scene since the 1970s and is located in the heart of Fano (Italy) inside the historic Palazzo Alavolini, one of the city's most important and refined palaces dating back to the 17th century.

Massari Design is internationally recognized for its extraordinary ability to create unique, sophisticated and timeless interiors for yachts, luxury properties and aircraft, also designing world-famous furniture collections.

Massari Design is constantly seeking Italian excellence and exceptionally crafted finishes to offer its clients exclusive, unique, completely customized projects.

The design brief that the owner of the MY "X", built by the Greek shipyard Golden Yachts, provided to Studio Massari Design was very clear from the very first meetings: to create a contemporary, refined, welcoming and harmonious style, devoted to attention to detail and the choice of the most sophisticated and exclusive materials. On board, in fact, there are elegant combinations of essences, more than 40 types of leather, precious woods, marbles and onyx, but also metals with unique finishes and silk carpets.

The MY "X" is an 88-metre yacht in which every detail is studied down to the smallest detail; the refined elements and workmanship, never ostentatious, almost seem to be found inside the yacht, which houses a large number of rooms, both interior and exterior, each with its own identity and precise characterization.

Massari Design Studio's main challenge was therefore to confer uniqueness to each individual environment, while ensuring perfect harmony with the others, thanks to the choice of a skillful aesthetic leitmotif.

The design of the 52-metre CRN 142 MY "Ciao" stems from a precise design brief that reflects the indications of an experienced owner.

The design follows an overall vision that seeks to blend linearity with cleanliness, while maintaining a refined and sophisticated style.

The rooms are conceived as cosy spaces enveloped in the warmth of wood, interspersed with strong design elements that distinguish them and give them a unique and elegant character.

The warmth of the rooms is manifested through the use of materials with warm colour nuances, such as wood or metal with a champagne finish and soft materials such as leather.
