Hanse Yachts Germany announces new 410 with optional electric propulsion and unmatched space that will revolutionise 40-foot sailing yachts.

Following the success of the Hanse 460 and 510 from the yacht designers of Berret-Racoupeau, Hanse Yachts is now launching the third model in this revolutionary new series. The new Hanse 410 will celebrate its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival (12-17 September 2023) and Windcraft will be there to capture the moment and report back to our customers in Australia and New Zealand.

The optimised hull design with chines at the bow and stern delivers a slim waterline which ensures that performance is not compromised by the cockpit and modern living space that is unparalleled in a yacht of this size.

The Hanse 410 offers optional electric propulsion with a range of up to 55nm, making this yacht friendly to the environment with or without wind. This can be matched with optional lithium batteries, solar and a new Hydogen Fuel Cell to maximise the energy you need while minimising your impact on the environment.

Hanjo Runde, CEO of HanseYachts comments "This innovative electric drive is an important step towards making our product range even more sustainable. Particularly in the area of sailing, which is already powered by wind energy, we want to provide water sports enthusiasts with a climate-neutral drive that is practical in every respect. Breaking Rules, Setting Trends - that's what HanseYachts stands for."

Windcraft will be offering video walk-throughs of this new Hanse 410 (along with the 460 and 510) live from Cannes in September so get in touch with us if you would like to join these live sessions.

Specifications, layouts and pricing are now available from your local Windcraft Team so please let us know by return email if you would like more information and availability on this new model.

Our sales and service team will be on hand at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney for our Cruising Expo 2023 on 4 - 6th of August 2023 so if you are in Sydney next weekend then come and see the lineup of Cruising Yachts we have on display including the first new Moody 41 deck saloon, a new Dehler 42 and a new Solaris 47.
