Introducing a new era for JP...

We are thrilled to announce the exciting merger of our two companies. JP RIBS and JP Marine have come together under one umbrella, JP CRAFTS.

JP RIBS began with the combined vision and experience of father-son duo, Jonathon and Phil Edgar, growing to a team of 22 from their base on Aucklands North Shore, and boasting some of our countrys best boat building and design talent.

JP Marine, a leader in the marine industry, has built a solid reputation for its high level workmanship, exceptional customer service, and commitment to excellence. With a strong presence in the marine industry, JP Marine has demonstrated consistent growth and has successfully established itself as a trusted brand.

And while this legacy gives us a foundation of reliability, were an ambitious Kiwi company in pursuit of progress. The agility of our lean but clever team, and a fearlessness when it comes to pushing boundaries, imagining whats possible, and embracing challenges, has us embarking on a new era of marine excellence, now as JP Crafts. It brings together four key divisions of our business: our projects, marine specialist services, partnerships and custom crafts. Stepping away from the typically siloed approach within the industry, director Jonny believes that:

"future-fit vessels should take shape through collaboration, collectively advancing industry innovation by bringing together world-leading technologists with superior craftsmanship."

JONATHON EDGAR, CEO
As we embark on this new journey, we are confident that the merger of JP Marine and JP RIBS will create a powerhouse in the marine industry, setting new benchmarks and paving the way for future success. Together, we are poised to redefine our industry landscape and provide unmatched services and crafts to our current and future clients.

We look forward to the opportunities this merger presents and the exciting possibilities that lie ahead.

A new emblem to better reflect our offering...

A sleek look that is characterised by its bold and sophisticated design. The clean lines, minimalistic and modern approach further depicts the JP offering. Our logo embodies the JP style  of refined aesthetics and conveys the contemporary and stylish approach we take when designing our crafts.

The design draws inspiration from the dynamic interplay of movement and our modular building process. Additionally, the design incorporates the artistic action of a looping knot.

The emblem is an ambigram of the letters JP. This visual symmetry has been designed so that the emblem is the same when viewed upside down.
