British Marine is reminding marine industry professionals to register their interest now for one of the most inspiring events of the year — Women in Marine. Following the success of last year's event Women in Marine returns to the Southampton International Boat Show this September, promising fresh perspectives, dynamic new speakers, and a brand-new format with a different day, time, and location.

  • Wednesday 24 September
  • 16:30 - 18:30
  • Quarterdeck Bar & Restaurant, Southampton International Boat Show

Designed to inspire, connect and grow the vibrant community of women working across the marine sector, this unmissable event offers an afternoon of insight, conversation and connection.

This year's panel and networking event is set to be one of the most dynamic and thought-provoking yet. Featuring a line-up of trailblazing female speakers from across the marine industry, attendees can look forward to compelling personal stories, valuable industry insights, and practical tools designed to empower and elevate women across the marine sector. The theme for this year's panel discussion and full speaker line-up will be unveiled very soon - stay tuned, this is one not to miss!

Lesley Robinson, CEO of British Marine, commented: "Women in Marine continues to be a vital platform for celebrating and supporting women in our industry. With a new venue, new day and new time, we're creating an even more dynamic space for open discussion, fresh insights and meaningful networking. We encourage everyone to register now and be part of this exciting event."

Following the panel discussion, guests are invited to enjoy refreshments and informal networking with colleagues from across the marine sector. This is a valuable opportunity to reconnect with peers, establish new professional relationships, and engage in meaningful conversations in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The Quarterdeck Bar & Restaurant provides the ideal environment to continue the conversation, share insights, and strengthen your network within the industry.

The event is open to all genders and offers an excellent opportunity to support the progression and visibility of women across the marine sector.

Places are limited, so we encourage anyone wishing to attend to register their interest by emailing and be among the first to receive exclusive updates, including speaker announcements and event highlights.

Please note: Registration is to attend the Women in Marine event only and does not include your entry ticket to the Southampton International Boat Show. Show entry tickets must be purchased separately. You can buy your tickets online via the official show website: www.southamptonboatshow.com.

Women in Marine is proudly sponsored by DF Capital, LA Marine and Haven Knox-Johnston.

Don't miss your chance to be part of an event that is setting the agenda and shaping the future of the marine industry.
