MarineMax Pompano names David Dzurilla as General Manager

MarineMax Pompano announced today that David Dzurilla has been named General Manager of the dealership.
Dzurilla began his boating career in 1987 at Boatland, then the world's largest Sea Ray dealer, becoming the youngest sales consultant in the dealership's history, not affiliated with the family. He joined MarineMax nearly 30 years ago and has played a key role in shaping the company's culture, standards, and customer experience.
MarineMax proudly recognizes Dzurilla for his outstanding leadership and performance as a General Manager. In 2022, MarineMax introduced the Bill McGill General Manager Achievement of the Year Award, created to honor the company's most exceptional leaders who demonstrate integrity, innovation, and consistent excellence in both sales and service operations. Dzurilla was honored as the inaugural recipient of this prestigious award, marking the first time MarineMax bestowed such recognition. His achievement reflects a career built on dedication, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Before joining MarineMax Pompano, Dzurilla led MarineMax Norwalk, where he built high-performing teams known for accountability, collaboration, and results. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for elevating performance, strengthening culture, and creating environments where team members take pride in their work and consistently deliver exceptional service.
Dzurilla takes over leadership at an exciting time for MarineMax Pompano. The dealership recently earned back-to-back Top Gun recognition, a testament to the team's dedication, focus, and performance across sales, F&I, Service, and Parts.
Dzurilla and his wife, Maria, have been married for 29 years and are raising four sons. A lifelong competitor in sports, including baseball, football, and pickleball, he brings the same drive, teamwork, and leadership to his role at MarineMax Pompano.
