Lookout raises new capital and forms advisory board to accelerate global growth of AI marine vision

LOOKOUT, the AI pioneer in marine safety, announced today it has closed a new round of funding backed by more than 10 industry insiders, and has formed a new advisory board.
The Company is now poised to accelerate its reach into new markets, grow its distributor network, deepen strategic partnerships, and advance the next generation of AI-powered perception at the helm.
LOOKOUT's expanded strategic advisory board will boost growth across the recreational and commercial sectors of the marine industry. The board has combined expertise from marine electronics, defense, marine electronics distribution and situational awareness for commercial shipping. Industry experts include Rich Miner, inventor of Android; John Mauger, U.S. Coast Guard (Ret.) Rear Admiral; Gray Chynoweth, a Naval officer; Drew Orvieto of Siemens Energy; Evan Efstathiou, a commercial shipping entrepreneur; and Louis Chemi, a marine industry executive/senior leader at Brunswick Corporation.
