With the Spain Sail Grand Prix Valencia, the Cannes and Monaco yacht shows, the debut of the 52 SUPER SERIES and Valencia Boat Show, the months ahead will put Marina Port Valencia and the city firmly in the international yachting spotlight.

The marina is embarking on a new chapter, with an action-packed calendar bringing the international sailing community to the city's waterfront. Over the coming months, Valencia will be the scene of top-level racing, leading boat shows and gatherings of industry professionals, while Marina Port Valencia bolsters its international presence and presses ahead with its transformation.

The action gets under way next month with the Spain Sail Grand Prix Valencia, which is taking place on 5 and 6 September. SailGP has selected Valencia as a Mediterranean destination and added the city to its international calendar, bringing one of the world's most spectacular sailing competitions to its waters.

The event will pit national teams against each other aboard identical 50-foot F50 foiling catamarans, cutting-edge boats capable of exceeding 100 km/h and sailing faster than the wind. SailGP in Valencia goes far beyond the competition itself, though. The choice of Valencia as a Mediterranean destination puts the waterfront firmly at the heart of the city's activity, attracting visitors, teams, industry professionals and international media and showcasing Valencia's ability to host major sporting events on the water.

But the autumn programme extends beyond Valencia, too. From 8 to 13 September, the Marina Port Valencia team will be exhibiting on a stand at Palais 051 during Cannes Yachting Festival, one of the key international meetings in the yachting industry. And just a couple of weeks later, from 23 to 27 September, they will be heading along the coast to Monaco Yacht Show, where the marina will have its own stand (AL41) on Quay Albert Ier. Both events will give Marina Port Valencia a platform to showcase its project to professionals from around the world, build industry relationships and raise Valencia's profile in the world's leading yachting markets, underlining its credentials as a serious player in Mediterranean yachting.

After a September shaped by SailGP and Marina Port Valencia's international activity, October keeps the momentum high with the arrival of the 52 SUPER SERIES. From 5 to 10 October, the marina will be hosting a round of one of the world's premier sailing circuits for the first time, with Valencia providing the stage for five days of racing featuring the sport's top teams and sailors.

Next on the autumn agenda is Valencia Boat Show, which will be held from 28 October to 1 November at Marina Port Valencia, providing a spotlight for the industry's leading brands and latest developments. Marina Port Valencia will also have its own stand at La Marineta, building its profile at one of the city's biggest yachting events.

With this calendar, Marina Port Valencia is set for a few months defined by racing, international business and public events, with SailGP and the 52 SUPER SERIES in Valencian waters and the team's presence in Cannes and Monaco. In short, a programme that makes the waterfront a vibrant part of city life, while cementing Valencia's place as a leading Mediterranean yachting destination.
